CONTAINERS SURVEY

SIM Containers surveys are confined to determining whether specific damage to containers requires repair, recommendations of the procedure of the same, as well as their condition, suitability for the nominated cargo (packaging, stowage and marking/labelling for the shipment) and estimation of the damages to the cargo and container.

PRELOADING SURVEY

SIM surveyors carry out cargo Pre-Loading Surveys in order to verify the condition of the cargo by recording all visible damage before shipment and to also inspect the loading process to avoid further claims.

DAMAGE SURVEY

SIM Damage Surveyors conduct investigations of cargo damage or loss claims on behalf of P&I Clubs, Owners, Receivers, etc. to determine the probable cause and extent of the damages that may have occurred during shipment and to assist in mitigating further losses in the future. The recommended repairs and an estimated cost of repairs are also provided.
